Help needed in Seattle, Wa.

I recently sent my father-in-law a cutting board in Seattle. It turned out well, with one minor problem. I measured only once it would seem, it's approx. an inch to wide. I was hoping to enlist someone close by to trim each side by a half inch. Of course I would compensate the carver accordingly. Just don't want my father to bother with sending it back. Look forward to a positive response ;)
