Texture on top of bubble

Need some advice from some of the more advanced people. How can I put a texture overlay on a bubbled circle? Intent is to have a bubble representing a part of the earth, and have a continent vector overlay that is textured. Is this even possible?

I am not sure of what you want but here is a bubble, a conforming vector path, and some texture.
