Is there a way to see who the nearest Carvewright owners are? With so many of these machines out there, surely someone has one nearby...

My Dad's down in Monticello FL Underdog and he bought a carvewright--but we've got some folks closer than that.

For anyone that is "nervous" answering new users - I've known Jim for years on another forum and he's an amazing cabinetmaker that has made some OUTSTANDING pieces with industrial CNCs. He's going to be a great addition to the Carvewright user world.

Well if Lawrence says your ok, hmm we will think about it!! :p

There is a section on the forum "find a carver near you" and it has a state by state section for carvers to post where they are located.. http://forum.carvewright.com/forumdisplay.php?68-A-Carver-Near-You

Thanks for the vote of confidence Lawrence. You've done some nice stuff with that Carvewright yourself. I'll post some pix on the WWA forum later on when I get photos uploaded to Photobucket.

Until then, if y'all wanna see some stuff I did on the cabinet shop's KOMO, then head over to Sawmill Creek's CNC forum.

Any Georgia CW owners (and anyone else 'nearby') are welcome to visit the following link and let me know if you are interested in attending/forming a CW User Group in Brunswick, GA!

I just knew there had to be some more folks in the Atlanta area. We should see about getting together sometime...

I'm all for that. All my knowledge could be put on the point of a pin. Not even enough to cover the head.:(

Hello Underdog,

We have not talked since the Woodworking Show but as our mutual Friend Lawrence said there are several of us around Metro Atlanta and a few North, South and NE of town. I'm looking to get our small circle active again this summer when I officially retire around Aug 3, but glad to participate in whateve folks would like to do so we can share our creations and collective knowledge.
