Need Help Please

I was given this picture and asked if I could carve it. Silly me said yes before I took a good look at the picture. I've tried changing it to grayscale and importing it to the editor but it's just not coming up the way I'd like and because the wording has different shading it's not coming out well either. I've attached the picture given to me and the one of what I tried to do. What a disaster. lol Can someone please help save my butt for me? Please.

if it is only the text that is the problame.Bring it into pattern editor and cut the top with the text and make your pattern.|Then add the text with the fonts you have in your system.

That is a good thought Roger, unfortunately it's not just the text. The tractor looks like crap. I can't get the detail right on it.
