I started the day resolving the board sensor problem, and thought I was in good shape. Now the flexshaft cable has burned through the rubber insulator with only 17h 58m running time. :roll:

Let's see...... your flex shaft burned up on Jan 4th 2007.

The UPDATE Flexshaft Lube posting has been up since Sept 2006.

What's your question ?? :roll: :lol:

Well:

1) It February 4th in the western states;
2) Flexshaft lube maintenance is performed at 20 hours.

not to mention the flexshaft lube discussion doesn't take into affect those that weren't lubed at ALL from the factory. The maintainence assumes that the basics were done on every machine.

However, if he got the one that went through while the lube guy was in the restroom then that could have explained it. :cry:

Wierd thing is, it actually looks like the wire tie wrapped around it (holding the temperature sensor maybe?) overheated and melted through the insulation from the outside. But the cable still turns freely. I just don't really care to see what it will look like on the inside when I inspect it tomorrow.
