I have been searching for a seahorse corbel for an ornate steampunk aquarium stand I have been asked to build. I found an amazing one exactly what I am looking for for free.
The only issue is it is in Aspire 3.5 format that pesky crv3d thing :D
I read that there is free copies of the software for download but they wont let you export into STL. which still wouldnt help me since I dont have that software package.

Is there anyone who can convert this file for me or come up with an alternative.
I did try importing through the clipboard but there is not enough shape to the seahorse.
The actual files are available here http://www.vectric.com/WebSite/Vectric/projects/2012/08-jul-seahorse-corbels/seahorse-corbel.html

Thanks

My guess would be your probably out of luck on this one guys as it might be against vectric's policy if anyone converted one of their patterns for use on another system. You might have better luck contacting them or Michael Tyler (the one who made the pattern) to see if they could convert it over to the CW format for the pattern depot.

Micheal does have several similar stuff on the Vectric site as free but they are for sale also in the pattern depot...

I have a FISH and an Angel pattern that would make nice corbels. They were made from Grayscale pictures. I know they aren't what you are looking for, but it seemed like a good time to share them.

I'm really sorry but I don't have a ton of time right now to make a corbel pattern, but maybe you or someone else could use this to make one- If you're still stuck in a week or so please let me know and I'll try to do more.

Here is one using Lawrence's seahorse. Not as fancy as Michael Tyler's of course.
