OK, you've really got me curious! :D How did you make chain? Will you share the MPC?

here's the chain programs. i had to run chains1 first, then chains2. if i combine the 2 programs, it carves out the outer part fist, then the inner, and the whole thing breaks off. of course i use pine, so that may be why.

i make them out of 3/4" pine, then cut them in half with my cheapo bandsaw.

then i round off all the edges with my belt sander and dremel.

the "trick" is to take a razor blade and cut every other link in half, then glue the assembly together. use rubber bands or small clamps to clamp it together.

it's a lot of work, but i like the payoff.

for me it's an excellent use for a lot of my scrap wood.
