I read about the cutting 45 deg angles on the edge of a board.
so I got instrested in setting it up. I laid out 2 sides of a box with
a 1/2" x 3/8" dados and the angles too. It would be faster on a router
table and a table saw, but my chop saw can't do 5" board width and my
table saw is old and I put a a self maded dust collection on it and I cannot cut 45deg
on it with out taking off the DC. So here is my attempt on CW and I must say
this will give me a way out. The corners were perfect 90 deg. and dado was
perfect too.
I,m loving the machine more each day.
Oh well back to production carving tomorrow.

Nice job. That looks to be a very useful technique. I would have tried to use the 90 degree bit but that looks good. Is it possible to make a lock type miter?

very cool- I like it.

Not sure if I'll ever use it, but it is nice to see that it can be done (I love things like that!)
