The sign looks great; but isn't Crystal Lake where Jason drowned?

I'd have someone else put the sign up.....

Looks nice :). I was wondering how that would look. I have a large stack of old barn siding and was curious about how it would carve.

I've carved some barn wood, & the edges need to be paralleled, the bottom flattened and the ends squared before the machine will measure properly. The top surface should also be somewhat flat. I stained the newly cut edges and ends afterwards to hide the freshness.

However, using the proper sled would allow you to use the wood, but it must be flat on the surface pretty much. The ends and the sides could be replaced with the sled, but, of course the top can't.

Thats what I did, I used a sled for a 1" thick slice of log with bark on the edge.
