Too bad, you missed the sears clearance! I bought all 11 bits for less than $100!

Unfortunately the seller doesn't offer international shipping; I'll be grateful if someone could help me in this way.

Looks like the bits have the old chuck adapter, anyone knows if the adapters can be easily be removed and then bit's shaft is the normal 1/2" or 1/4" shaft that can be installed by itself or with the reducing collar into the new chuck?

Peter,

yes the QC adapters can be removed to use with the CarveTight chuck.

Could I ask someone of you to contact the seller to see if he could make an exception and to send international the bit set for a Carvewright owner from outside US? If affirmative I'd like to know the transport charge to Romania.

Many thanks for help.

If he is willing to ship it it would be about US $50. http://ircalc.usps.com/MailServices.aspx?country=10368&m=13&p=0&o=1&mt=12

Ive never had any luck edge routing and Im advised to use my router table because the CW doesnt perform well. What are you folks using these bits for?

I don't...my router table is much faster and more predictable... I'm with you... router table all the way. I like the ability to take small bites and a final passing (perhaps even upclimb) cut to reduce tearout/spletching

I tried using the CW once because I thought it was a useful feature and would be quicker than the setup time on the router table... but was very disappointed. Folks here agreed it didn't work well so I've never tried again.

Concur. I do all my cutouts with a scroll saw and all my edge routing with a router. Its just faster. Plus you start another carve while you are cutting the previous carve out.
