Just keep trying with the removal tool, but don't put too much force on it. It can be hard to remove some time. My has always eventually come out with enough tries.

If you still can't remove it, maybe some on the forum will reply with a solution.

I have found if you put a small drop of 3-In-One oil on the bit holder before inserting it, it comes out easy even without the tool. The reason it sticks is due to layer of rust and the oil helps.

Good Luck!

I had the same problem. I applied 3 in 1 oil inside the top of chuck flange, then let it set then work the chuck up and down till it frees up.

remember to wipe out the excess and don't let it drip. The CPU and power supply are under there.

one reason we use grease usually instead of oil. except on that of course.
