Didn't have much time this year, so the output was a bit reduced.

Rolling pin Keurig cup dispenser was for a co-worker who was giving a Keurig machine as a present and wanted a cup dispenser. The recipient is a rolling pin collector, so he wanted something in that motif. Not a CW project but fun to do nonetheless. 58428 "Pin" revolves nicely on a bearing between the pin and base.

The Keepsake Box is for my first grandson's First Christmas. Many, many Thanks to Mr. Eddy for the guidance in carving the 45 degree joints for the corners.

Great job on the box Ken. Clever gift idea for a newborn. Thanks for sharing.

ps: the attachment for rolling pin doesn't work for me.

Apparently I did something incorrect with the rolling pin image.

Here is another attempt at posting the pic.

Very good work Ken. I looked up the discusion concerning the miters for the box. During that descussion you ran multipal tests...Was the original pattern, that Eddie gave you, the correct solution or did you modifie the pattern. Eddie also made known the bit depth issue. Did you use a shim as Eddie recommended?

both projects look outstanding- I love the box but the rolling pin is an especially unique and thoughtful project... (just the kind I like)
Well done,
Lawrence

Nick, the 45 degree pattern from Mr. Eddie was perfect as supplied. He warned me against the resizing issue - and that's where I got off track. If one keeps the width as per the pattern, all cuts well. In fact, there was essentially no dressing of the surfaces required (cherry) for the mitres.

I did not opt to use the shim approach, as it cut well without. The "shoulders" at the top of the mitre were of not consequence to me - they are inside the box.

Hope this helps and Thank You All (Ya'll) for your most kind comments.
