Today I put a patterns on a board, twice. One on best and one on good.
Then I set the upload at best not optimal. I wanted to see the difference in quality.
I was carving red oak. I know it isnt the best for certain projects but it is what I had.

I was cleaning up outside the machine and about to open the door when the machine shut down.
I looked and the cord got bumped in the extension socket.
There was maybe 5 minutes left, just v carving some letters.

I know you can re run the carve but the little bit that was left isnt worth it. I will carve by hand that last little bit.

I think it is time to clear up my shop :p.
I did see a slight difference between the two carvings, I may run the same project again tomorrow on Optimal setting. Double the time, but who knows it may be worth it.

Something I have noticed when rendering with the software though is I seem to get better visual results on the monitor by not using the best setting but the one under it. I have no idea how this translates to the actual carve.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Carl,

You can go back and modify the original project and carve the items that are left. Since it is just V carving, delete what has already been carved and re save the project. Load up the machine to finish up...
