This is a project for my shop.
ive did a few kind of different.
After i do the carve i put led strips in the frame.

The lights I get on ebay,dont buy them from any of the
woodworker sites (rockler for instance) these if you watch
you can get them for about 12.00 for 5meter campared to well over a hundred.
Some also have remotes where you can make them blink or switch colors.
These are actuall cast,so they dont melt

A great job, I'll bet using the tutorial on here about carving photo's in wood, you could do this also.
I used to etch photo's on glass and edge light them with a led stand. Thanks for the revival of this

They sell LED's in a 5 Meter Roll in a few colors on eBay. They are setup where you can cut them every 3 LED's and power from 12 volts.
