I was 1/3 of the way through a project and the mach. just shut off..
i have checked the power supply and that is working
checked the contrast
cleaned the mach with air and suction

there is still no power

is there a circut breaker on the mach? or motor?

Great troubleshooting job.

I noticed a computer powersupply in one of the pictures. Did you try to power up the unit with that? Did it work?

I may have a bad powersupply too. Wondering if that would be an easy step.

Thanks,
Bill

if you call us up and let us check a few things we can send one out if you need it.

we've redesigned them to uninstall and install MUCH easier now.

YES...only to check display board.. that kinda helped narrow it down..

5/24 volts /dc .. same conection on 4 pin plug /

simple now / check out board were power supply comes in / remove 4 pin plug / using meter check / 2 bottom pins=5vdc top 12/24vdc/

I'm curious .... did you also hear a 60hz hum when no motor was running nor trying to run? All of a sudden, my machine is giving off a very low volume hum periodically and I havn't yet isolated where or why or what is causing it, however, when it's there, I seem to get sensor problems (but that could be coincidence).

But those Gremlins should be happy, Bard. I've fed them enough green beer, at least, they should be by now !

Could it therefore have something to do with you dumping green beer on your CW????

Dump beer? Not on your life. Anything the Gremlins don't get, I make sure never goes anywhere but internally within ME. It's Guinness, after all.

I am fairly certain that Guinness is a suitable substitute for any other Flexshaft lubrication!!
