Unknown Part Found

I looked down in the machine at the end of a carving run, and found this part loose. I have no idea where it belongs, but I have a suspicion it might be causing the eratic behavior of the carving. The latest symptom was a VERY loud vibration of the cutting bit, which never completed its job, because it actually broke. Does anyone know if this might be because this part is not where it's supposed to be? Please let me know. Thanks.

If I remember it is the retaining clip you have the Quick Chuck?

Tolerance ring from bearing. Need to replace z-truck.

I would have said u were right but got it from the horses mouth what it was. Sitting next to Chris when I pulled the photo up.

Possible it came from CT but more likely QC.

Wow. Guess like I think like the female I am. Put some diamonds in it and you have a Christmas present. Looks kind of pretty. I never found one of those in the bottom of my machine. Course, I did get the machine. :-)
