Christmas present for my mother

Just finished my Christmas present for my mother thought I would share it.

Cross is made from maple and stained cherry wood. The base was a after thought and it is made from solid cherry.

The pen is a Virage from Exotic Blanks with Bethlehem olive wood

Wow again the creative juices are flowing with this site !! I love your project. I am looking into purchasing a Pen lathe soon. I love the pen as well. Is it ok with you if I copy your idea? This would be an awesome gift for pastors and servant leaders I know.

Thanks all, I have to call my mom back later, it was kinda of difficult to understand her when she called. she sounded a little choked up and couldn't speak clearly.
