I wanted to share this with you guys, given the holiday season. This is something I wrote some years ago, actually I believe it was given to me by God and I just wrote it down. He helps me in many things in my life; the music I write, the projects I design and build and much more.

Anyway, I thought you may enjoy it. Now, in the spirit of sharing, I have the following rules about stuff I write and post.

1. If you use it, please leave my name on it so I have credit. Feel free to use it for personal projects if you like.
2. If you use it on something you sell, and you sell like 100 copies, I would like a cut of the profits LOL. Only fair!
3. Should I find someone using this without permission or claiming it as thier own, all I have to say is that I am a US Army Desert Storm vet with over 10 years in service where I was a Special Forces sniper, and I was a CID agent. Need I say more? ;)

WOODWORKERS PRAYER

O Lord, I ask You to grant me the vision to see the hidden art that You
placed in each stick of wood

The steadiness in my hands to guide the tools straight and true

The wisdom to layout the lines right the first time

The intelligence to keep my fingers out of the saw blades

The touch to sand each curve and corner just right

And the gentleness to make each stroke of my brush smooth and just

And most of all, let everyone feel the love that I put into every project I
make

Lord I ask this so I may follow in Your footsteps every day, both in work
and life, for You are the worlds best carpenter.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Thanks, Darren - I finally get to make something for me! That's going on my shop wall.

Thanks, Darren,

It will be on my shop wall too. That is a nice prayer and something to think about before each new project.

Thanks for your positive comments guys, I appreciate it! And that's what I hoped that someone might find inspiration in it. Please post photos of whatever you make with it, I would love to see it!

Here's my shot at it - I'll post finished pics (let me know if you see a problem).
