How to seal a Humidor?

Queston for those of you who make hunidors: How do you seal them? How do you assure the lid to box is sealed and what can you to dt the inside surface to seal in or out (don't know which we are trying to do) moisture? I don't and never have smoked so I know nothing about this stuff.

I have cigars and humidors. First and most important don't put anything on the inside of the box, because the cigars will absorb the smell. The boxes I have are inter locking . The inside is usually spanish Cedar. I hope this helps
