Am in De, it's starting to blow a lot with more to come. Looks like we're in the bullseye for the next 24 hrs.
I'm inland about 20 mi so will get some buffering, JPALUCK is down near the ocean and will be getting the worst.
Hopefully he's evacuated to higher ground.

Be safe everyone! Don't "stick it out", if you don't have to. Not worth it.

I'm in Western NY, about 3 minutes from Lake Erie. We just entered what appears to be the worst part of it. Have no idea if this is the only "hit" for us or if it will spin around again for a second blow.
So far, so good.

It's a drawing tablet that connects to the computer, it will work like a mouse, but uses a pen, my intent is to use it with the carvewright software to see how it interacts to create patterns. I think it make work really well with the tracing aspect of the new software.

I don't know about designer, but in Photoshop they are pressure sensitive, think Magic Marker... The harder you push, the more ink flows. I have seen the pros use them, but I could never get the hang of it. I use a trackball with high resolution.

I have a vistablet muse- and LOVE it
http://www.amazon.com/12-Inch-Artists-Professional-Graphic-Tablet/dp/B003OBZS22/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351555561&sr=8-1&keywords=vistablet+muse

I only use about 25% of it's capabilities, but learn more every day. I need to program a keyset for the new tools, but unfortunately I really need them to assign keyboard shortcuts for all the designer/2d/3d buttons first, this would help a LOT

If the works good for me I will be upgrading to the Wacom Cintiq. Tablet has a interactive monitor. We will see how things go first with the G Pen

I'm in Cleveland, a lot of downed trees been up since 5:15am with my chainsaw, helping a friend that runs a auto repair
shop get out of his driveway due to a downed pine. Sorry guys it's only about 2" in diameter, and I don't own the
"rotary jig". Stay safe, everyone on the East Coast.
Gary
P.S. Sustained winds 35-40 mph, gusts expected to be 60-70 till this pm. Almost 4"of rain so far...

Glad to hear there was no major damage and glad your power is back on Al. I know it must have been tough to lose something we need as much as Edison's work....
