Need help

I am just getting back to learn how to use my machine, I have a few pictures that I want to import to my favorites, however when I click on import it brings up my picture file but only half of the pictures are there? However if I go thru the start and choose my pictures they are all there? Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Would greatly appreciate any help that you could offer. Please go easy on me..... I am really green around the gills:p

Is it possible that some of the pictures are not in the format that the import fuction recognizes? I looked at the importer and .TIFF would be such a format. Take a look at the file types and I think you will find that is your issue. Easy enough to fix, save as a different file type. Hope this resolves your issue.
