I'm attempting to create a cut out of Jerry's license plate (http://forum.carvewright.com/showthread.php?21179-I-m-a-Big-Hit-With-The-Ladies.....). I've read in a few places about copy offset. Is this found in Designer or is it in one of the software packages? It would be a lot easier to copy offset the border of the plate and apply a cut path to it.

Mark - FWIW, I trim the plates on the table saw, trim the corners 45 degrees with a miter saw, and sand them round.

Can't be of any help with copy offset, sorry.

The copy offset tool is part of the 2D Advanced Vector Drawing Suite. If you have purchased this add-on it should be under the "Tools" menu

Jerry, thanks for the info. I have limited sanding capabilities hence the cut out route. I suppose if I made enough of them I could make a router template and cut them out that way too.

Thanks Steve. I remember reading about it, just couldn't remember where it was located or what software package it was in.
