What is the max board thickness for a double-sided carve, which the carvewright cuts out?
I am guessing it is about 1.65" or so, based on the max carve depth?

Will the carvewright actually do this as a cut path, if it knows the board is that thick, or would I have to manually make one?
Either way, which is the proper side of the board in designer to make the cut on, I believe it is the front?

Thanks!

Ken,

Yes the cut out using the cut path tool is done of the front side. The software will not allow you to do a cut path on the back side. Also the max thickness using the cut path is 1". To do thicker boards you will need to do a manual cut path and add in manual tabs.
