I had a gentleman ask me to carve this picture. His wife has passed of cancer and he is building some quilt frames for all of his children. The pieces will be used on the ends of the quilt frames. This picture is on his wifes headstone. What is the best way to set this up? Trace the pattern with connected line tool then to a vector carve? I think this would not turn out very good if I tried to do a raster carve of the pic. Any help is appreciated.

Just give it a smaller picture and do a test carve. it's a good way to start the though processes.

Thanks -with the CW unit it is all about the Grayscale, make a line drawing - run it through a grayscale generator - the CW unit will Obay you.
