Wanting patt for ukuele

Have a guy wanting me to make a ukulele wall hanger with a uke pattern in it, for his dads 80th birthday.
He got him a ukulele and needs to hang it for him .
any ideas would be great.

Tom- not talented, just using patterns from sketchup and bringing them into the stl importer... it is a REALLY powerful software package and it seems to be working great since the update.

Lawrence, do you have a technique for sorting through the gobs of 2d crap masquerading as 3d in the sketchup warehouse? When I search through it I find it hard to find anything useful. What's your secret? Just persistence?

That looks really good OS-- one thing to note about the patterns I get from STLs though- sometimes details don't come out "as advertised" at shallow depths. In this case for example, the strings and pegs are very shallow. To solve this, change the depth of carve for the uke pattern itself deeper (.5 worked for me) , raise up the height (to 999), and change the bit optimization (on everything) to best. This will make this (and many of the other patterns I post here) carve with the details "bumped up" a bit. When you leave the "carve region" shallow and have the pattern deeper it just "hides" the bottom part of the pattern, which in this and many other cases, has no detail anyway.

Yes I did some changes , added draft to pattern to make strings sand out better and set bit to best .
