Won't do the same on a warped board. Sorry was making reference to the size of the bit being almost a planer... bad joke, sounded funny at the time!

I smiled bert :)

I've used my router in a similar way to flatten a large slab - it's a great technique and I'll bet it goes much faster with a bit like that one! (I think I've seen Marc Spagnalo of the wood whisperer using one like that)
