Here's a simple but I think elegant business card holder.

I needed one last weekend and put this one together out of 1/2" maple scrap. If you don't have a 3/8" cutting bit, you can change to multiple passes of the 1/8" cutting bit. Likewise if you don't have centerline text you can change it. After sanding the parts I glued them with quick-setting epoxy and applied three coats of lacquer, the last one from a spray can.

DickB,
I had some extra time recently and decided to try out the card holder for the LOML. She absolutlely loves it!! She picked the card orientation and I wasn't about to argue :). It is happily displayed at her desk and I appreciate you sharing the mpc....

Simple and elegant sums it up, I like it! I have some cocobolo scraps that I may make one out of. Would be great for my craft mall booths! Thanks for sharing!

Thats a great idea! I have been searching the forum looking for ideas on what to do with the couple barrels of scrap wood that I have collected over the past few months. I use #1 Pine mostly, so it too expensive to just throw away. I am going to try a design for a business card holder of my own. Thanks for sharing!
