Happy,

My shop temp has probably been running in the low 90s and I know some have said they have been carving with the temps on the low 100s. Probably the area you need to monitor the most is the flex shaft temp. My last three carving the shaft temp was running in the low 90s. I do run a small fan so that it blows across the machine, not really to sure how effective it is blowing warm/hot air.

+1 no problems with heat affecting things here... and it doesn't get much hotter than tucson... I do have a box fan that I blow on the machine and it seems to help (or at least make me think it helps), but with a properly lubed flexshaft, it never gets more than warm to the touch.

But Lawrence, don't you just have "dry heat?" :)
