lip on an oval using the new tools

attached is my first attempt to do raised lip on an oval.
I did one for a circle very easy, but the oval does not seem to work
using Extrude.
How do I make a lip around the oval with the new tools?

Use the "sweep rounded" tool Place your arc centered on the white line

Perry B.I applied the Round Sweep Tool to the oval. As you found out the Extrude only applies to horizontal or Vertical.

Notice that I extended the bowl line left of the red line to make sure I did not leave a "mountain in the carve.

Oh well I spent all this time creating it so here it is.Your MPC has a "Mountain" in the center, by the way you applied the sweep. You may want to review my prior post on how the avoid that situation.
