I have been wanting to try this style of cribbage board for quite awhile. I finally gave it a shot yesterday. Not bad for the first attempt at this style. I will be working on some better patterns specifically for this style of cribbage board, now that I know it will work OK. I call this first quicky the Tiger Board. Fresh out of the machine, no sanding except around the outside edge.

Actually I put 3 or 4 patterns together to make it. It will be on my website as soon as it is ready.

Looks like some of the things from Pratyeka 3d added to cribage board pattern. I'm sure Terry will have it on his website soon.

I haven't played cribage in 30 years, but I may have to start again. What did you carve the white board from

It is carved on the inexpensive laminated pine from Lowes. It is 16 x 9, so the 1 x 12 stuff works great. I made the patterns from greyscales on the site that Pratyeka listed.

Terry very nice arrangement of patterns and cribbage board layout.

Thanks Eddie,
Actually the pattern isn't important. I just grabbed the first thing that looked like it would work. The real issue was having the pattern lay below and between the cribbage tracks and not become a part of it. I wasn't sure if I could get it to do it but it turned out to be pretty easy.

Thank you everyone. I sure enjoyed trying some new techniques form Sharon's suggestions and if you make a mistake just paint over it.
Perry at least order 36 package qty, you need it for things like this. Glad I could help!

Tom,
Just think of how that board would look with some nice round brass feet under it. I'm going to have a few hardware items for sale on the website in a few days and the brass feet, for jewelry boxes and boards like this, is going to be one of the items.

Tom...Great job on both the carve and the painting. What type wood did you use?

Terry does make wonderful patterns....the crib boards are some of my favorite but the wagon wheel welcome sign he post yesterday grabbed my attention.

I'm out in the shop now putting legs on the Terry's Table Cribbage Board pattern. Plus, I just loaded the Tiger pattern onto my card. But have to wait a little to carve it as I plan on using a piece of flooring that is 1/4 inch to narrow...so have to put an edging around the board before I can carve.

Just curious... the way I learned to play cribbage, there are only 2 tracks - either 2 players or 2 teams of 2 each... how do you play with 3 tracks?

TerryT

Play is the same only with 2, 3 or 6 players. You can download the rules from our website. We also have one style of board that has four tracks.
