Thanks to Ted Grinnell for allowing us to use the Last Supper that he scanned with his probe! I did this today with a piece of red oak. I know cherry or maple will cut cleaner, but I had this on hand. It's 12 X 24 and took 3 1/2 hours to carve. I stopped about every 20 minutes to vacuum the chips out so they wouldn't interfere with anything. I did a little touch up with a brass brush and routed the edges. It'll be up to my wife how she wants me to finish it. I am very pleased with the quality, as Ted scanned it with the new probe. Now I guess I'll have to splurge for one myself. Thanks again for allowing us to use this.
