I carved this today and it came out pretty good. My wife is going to take it to work for her cubicle. It was my first project designed in Aspire. I used a bit map picture to design on top of and then exported as an STL. Learned a lot and I hope someone else would like to carve it!

Thank you Leo -- When she saw me designing it she immediately wanted one for work. I will glue a magnet on the back and it might get passed around the department for awhile.

Keep in mind I am learning how to use Aspire, so it took me most of a week on and off to get this. I restarted to many times to count and still see where I could improve it. Sooner or later I want to make chips, so this is where I stopped for now. I seem to have to learn the hard way. Trial and error.

I thought of you when this came out of the machine! I wondered how you would colorize it. I usually take the easy way out and let the wood speak for itself and just add hightlights. If you carve it, I would love to see how you would enhance the details. Thank you Sharon!

Hello Steve,

That is my kind of sign.

Years back when I lived in Ohio and had a shop. I was on a project for a month were I was in my shop all the time. Keep track of my coffee intake and it was 996 cups of coffee for that month. I am never far from a coffee maker or a store that sells coffee.

I like the design and I bet your enjoying Aspire.

Are you going to be selling the design as a ptn ??
