I've tried a couple carvings of objects such as the harley emblem, lions, and deer. I have not yet recieved my bit set from CW, can a sign with letters with the outline or raster, or centerline setting be done with the bits that come with the machine. The carving bit or cutting bit?
I want to try carving a sign with my name, but not sure if its possible with the bits supplied.
Thanks

fOR CENTERLINE YOU NEED EITHER A 60 DEG. OR 90 DEG BIT . Which you probably don't have centerline anyway, as we have heard from most sears machine people.
The rest is all done with the carving bit .
I just noticed your join date , maybe your not a sears owner.

For outline or centerline, like Dan says, you need either the 60° or 90° bit which are standard off the shelf items at most WW stores or places like PriceCutter.com. or Sears. You'd need to put one in a quick release bit holder from Sears or use one you have.

How can I get the centerline option for my text? I have a Sears machine and am using Designer 1.115

Please do a search about the centerline option. The subject has been beaten to death in other threads.
