View Full Version : Display needs replacement?

I have bought a CC machine off Ebay.

Got it from the freight company and realized that the LCD is broken, probably suffered a hit (I don't know how and why). The guy shipping the machine said it was OK when he sent it.

My question is: does anybody know if it is possible to replace the display only, or do I have to replace the whole computer board? And next question: does it cost a lot?

Oh yes, I tried to contact Carvewright, but they are slow on answering emails... ;-)

I think they are new ones that he ads the lights too - I have one and will be putting them in my other machines as time and funds allow.

If you are referring to the LCD display I would get Jeff Birts Backlit LCD Kit (http://www.soigeneris.com/Backlit_LCD_Kit-details.aspx). So much better than the OEM LCD.

I bought one first of Dec. $105 (Reconditioned) it had some hours on it but worked fine. About 40 more for new, Ithink. Of course shipping was another 12. Thats the whole control panel.
You should smell that and see if it has a burnt odor.

Connie, he ordered from Jeff Birt because he is in Europe ... last I checked LHR doesn't ship there.

Exactly, LHR does not ship overseas...

Fortunately, when I need original parts it seems like they accept overseas credit cards...
