I have a design with three seperate raised patterns. All are
same depth .25 and height 100. How would you route the
rest of the board surface, so the all would appear as reaised
images?

Is this close to what you are looking for?

Like Aaron did, just make a rectangle over the whole board (allowing for roller feed), and carve region the background away. But you see on the F16 and the eagle there is a raised surface behind them. This is part of the carving as you imported it and cannot be erased without changing your library image. When you import these images you need to either raise or lower them to remove the square behind them.

I finally get the message. Mistake #1 was inporting a colored .bmp,
found out it don't raise or lower. After converting to a B/W .bmp,
and then importing, was able to lower it and get the desired results.
Thank God for this forum. I would have been completly in the dark
after I got my machine, knowing what I wanted to do, but not
knowing how to do it.... Many thanks to all of you.
