will carvewright work with newer 64 bit platform computers? If so, what problems or issues may be encountered, if any?

As long as you install the software as Administrator, you should have no problems. (i.e, right-click on the install exe - then select Run As Administrator from the pop-up menu)

If it's your first install and with 1.182 then u shouldn't have to run as administrator.

Thank you for the correction, Connie. I didn't know that 1.182 eliminated the need to install as Administrator. Very good!

It of course wouldn't hurt to run as admin.
