Does anyone know anything as to the availability of a pattern of a janitor? Someone using a push broom? Operating a mop?
I've looked all over and can't find a thing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have access to designer, but here is a pic to get you started. Found by googling "janitor icon"

Dude! I wish mine would come out like that. Is it because I'm using a "freebie" program?

That one was done using Moi3d and Zbrush.
Gray scaling the image posted by Pratyeka, cleaning up the noise, and importing it would give you something close to what IKE did. Or get shadermap pro, and it would make the displacement map for you and give a nice pattern too. See attachments. I did not clean up the white background, making it black will allow you to remove it when importing better. SHadermap pro is only $20, and does a great job on most images such as this one.

Note after gray scaling, use gaussian blur in paint.net to get the effects of the displacement map image I showed.

Forgot to answer your question, No, it is not because of the free programs. there are many free 3d programs out there, and technique such as the gaussian blur, and gray scale make a huge difference. Shadermap pro just does it all for you, and is quick. I made the attachment is about 2 mnutes.

Chebytrk, here is what I had done, using Moi3d and zbrush. First is the clip art image I traced using vectors in moi3d. Notice each section is one vector line, yet the end points of each join up with the other lines near it. This allows me to select the lines making one section and extrude to a height I choose in Moi3d. See second image, where each section is extruded to a height, such as the overalls top and bottom section are the same height. Arms are one height, broom handle is another, a little lower than the hands, yet higher than the overalls. The shirt is lower than overalls, and so on till the pattern is the way I wanted it to look. Then I save this as an OBJ file and import into zbrush where I sculpt it to the final product, before importing it into designer.

Hey, I want to thank all of you for the pattern. My daughter, whom this pattern is for, is out of town but I'll get together with her when she gets home and see what she thinks.
Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the "janitor". I tried carving it after reducing down to about 2 1/2 inches high. Not pretty! I'm trying it again, full size and it seems to be working out fine.
Thanks again.
