The host hotel for the conference is:

Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake
3000 NASA Road One
Houston, Texas, United States 77058-4322
Tel: 1-281-333-9300, Fax: 1-281-333-3750

The Hilton is a 3 star 3 diamond full service hotel located on the scenic Clear Lake waterfront, which connects to Galveston Bay and then the Gulf of Mexico. It is across the street from NASA's Johnson Space Center and 5 minutes from the famous Kemah Boardwalk.

We do have a GROUP RATE of $105 per room (which is $6 more than last years' rates). These rates are good for 6 days prior to and post our event dates.
The GROUP CODE is CAR. Use this to make your reservations. Group Rates are based on availability and expire on May 25th.

The hotel has self-parking only and there is no charge. The hotel can also provide complimentary Van Transportation for guests within a 5 mile radius of the property for up to 10 passengers at one time with an advanced reservation.

The Hilton is less than 10 minutes away from last years' location and approximately 30 minutes (18 miles) from Hobby Airport and approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours (47 miles) from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Estimated from their information - taxi from Hobby is about $20-25 & IAH is about $60-75. (Some attendees last year discovered that the hotel's estimated taxi cost was lower than actual taxi costs, so you may want to check for yourself.)

Hobby Airport Airlines include AirTran, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, & Southwest Airlines.

There are several other hotels in the area, but none are less than 2 miles away.

I finally got the code for reserving your hotel room at the Hilton Hotel where the conference will be held.

It is: CAR

(I didn't make that up!)

Again, the rooms are $105 per night.

That is actually a really good rate for this hotel.

Here is the hotel information:

Thanks Connie, that will save us a few dollars. We have at least two coming form Western Washington!

Awesome! I keep getting more and more excited to see everyone again and to put real faces with those new customers coming this year that I haven't met yet!

These conference rate of $105 (edited: sorry, had $106 by mistake) are good from June 22 to July 6th, 2012. That is 3 days prior to our event, the three days of our event and for 3 days after our event.

There are TONS of fun things to do in the Houston / Galveston area, so if you want to bring your family it is a great location for them to enjoy. (Galveston is my favorite spot, even though I don't like sand!)

Is the rate not $105.00?? That is what they stated in my confirmation from the Hilton.

Good deal on getting the rate for that time.

Do you have any word on purchasing extra supper tickets for Thursday evening. I am bringing my wife with me this year, so I will need to get another ticket for the evenings meal.

Our Group Rate for the Hilton has expired (May 25th actually), but if you call me ASAP, I can give you the number of our sales rep and she may be able to add some extra rooms at the price of $105 per night.
