Mirror and delete original

I need to reverse some text. I mirrored, but can't get rid of original. Any way to do this?

The software won't let you delete the text you mirror. But you can use the flip/rotate option to flip the text horizontally.

An image that you mirror may not be deleted, without affecting the scope of the mirror. If you only wish one image, as brdad stated, you can flip & rotate the image and move to the desired position.

As you have seen, mirrored images do not keep the orientation of the original image. They are backward or upside down, depending on which quadrant they are in.
