Hi guys, i need this to be a pattern . . .

it will be a simple cut out 9" x 2.25 but for the life of me i can not figure out how to make it a pattern!

I used your Drawing to make a cut path, grouped it and saved as a pattern

Hi Ken! I was going to suggest flipping Bud's mpc to change the wood grain. But Ken's mpc is running the best way with the grain. Bud's way at the top will break real easy at the grain. So by running the medstand horizontally with the grain it will be stronger!

Thanks Guys !, I figured out how to do it. In illustrator i originally had just a line drawing which didnt work well, then i realized i needed to "fill" my drawing. its perfect now ! :-)

This MPC has both the pattern from your drawing and the cut-out from that pattern.
The one thing to remember is that this cut-out will not have square inner corners, on the bottom due to the bit. You will always need to dress up these areas with hand tools, as the round bit can not make a square inner corner.
