How to Remove QC chuck????

How do you remove the QC chuck from the scanning probe. The two set screws came out with no problem, but cant get the chuck off. I have a rock chuck so I cant use the probe the way it is. Thanks.

How do you remove the QC chuck from the scanning probe. The two set screws came out with no problem, but cant get the chuck off. I have a rock chuck so I cant use the probe the way it is. Thanks.It may be that lock-tight migrated on to the probe shaft (it's plastic). If the screws are totally removed, and it does not slip out, I would mount the adapter in a vice so the probe is free and use a small dowel to push out the probe. If you damage the shaft, you can call Connie, at LHR, and order just a replacement probe.

I got it. Just had to use a little more pressure. I knew the shaft was plastic so didnt want to damage that. Thanks for the reply.
