Problem making pattern

I am new to making pattern's and you make it look so easy here.I was wondering if someone could help me make a pattern with just the head no white border. If you can help me with I would really be thankful.

This appears to be a photo copy rather than a first generation digital file. Do you have an actual FGDP of you dog? Photo copies have a lot of grain to deal with.
