I was so excited to see the CW for $999.00 from LHR and managed to get the money together expecting the usual $80.00 shipping. To my surprise the shipping is at the lowest is $211.39! My K2 CNC came in a crate the is 3' long 2' wide and over 2' high and was shipped via a truck line and was a little over $200.00! Why so much more in shipping?

Guess I won't be getting a new CW http://forum.carvewright.com/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif

Change it from UPS Shipping to Regular Shipping. It is $82.00. It still gets sent UPS, because USPS will not carry anything over 70 pounds.

And WHY aren't you calling me to place your order? We haven't talked in a long time.

Glad you are able to get a new machine, Ike!

I need to have the wife transfer the money into my account and I will call tomorrow, that is if she has not changed her mind again?

Well somewhat! I could go to town and withdraw the money and deposit the money, but after 27 years of marriage and 31 years together I know better!

Yep and she did, so no new machine for me :( I hope it is still selling for $999.00 the next few months after my first few events. This may be my last year for my sign shop if I don't start making more money. Not to mention my health, so another machine really isn't smart at this time....UGH!

Sorry to hear that Rick. I truly hope your business picks up. But the health is the most important. If there is anything I can do to help just give me a call bud.

Thank you Tom and Terry I read my post again and I sound like a candy.... Well you get the point! I hate it when my wife is right, but she is I have the money for a new machine, but it is not wise at this time. She works at a medical clinic and lately they have been firing employees. The scary thing is one was a doctor and my wife is the newest hire. She is in accounting and she is not learning the job as fast as she thinks she should be.

There I go again whining sorry, anyway I hope for another good season next year. I make signs at home, but no real sign shop. I live in a very small town, Walmart and Safeway is our biggest stores! Our Walmart isn't a super store either! I was entertaining a new and used video game store, just need to figure out where to get the money to start!

Still I appreciate the kind words!

Oh, no, Rick! I'm so sorry. Love to see you with another machine, but I'm glad it happened before you did it. Chin up, my friend! Here's to 2012 being a better year than 2011.

Everything happens for a reason. Got to believe something better is on the horizon.
