Can't get past the welcome screen

Well, I've read the troubleshooting posts and don't see this problem. I downloaded the new updated software, flashed the memory card, and placed a project on it. Inserted it in the machine, turned it on and it comes up with a message saying CarveWright Woodworking Machine and nothing else. When I push any of the buttons, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Does it have a problem? I've tried to flash the card a couple times, but still the same thing...HELP!!!

DON'T HOLD ME TO IT , BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR MEMORY CARD IS BAD.

I HAVE READ A COUPLE OTHERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, AND BELIEVE THEY HAD TO GET A NEW CARD FROM CARVEWRIGHT.

SOME CAME BAD, SOME DAMAGED, AND HEARD A LOT SUSPECTED TO BE DAMAGED BY STATIC ELECTRICITY.

I used my machine only 1 day, while in the middle of the project, it just stopped. Now I can't get it to work at all. I cleaned it all out, checked to see if if anything was loose. But all the parts are intact. who else had this problem. any suggestions before I call carvewright.
