Lady brought in picture fo cradle she had made for her in the city and was not happy .

This is what I came up with for her.

Made out of 3/4 Cherry with summer oak stain and clear gloss finish.

Sayings differnt on both sides, what she sang to her baby at night.

I hope49924499254992649927 she is happy with this one.

I get teh feeling "Happy" will not even begin to describe her feeling. What a wonderful project!! It the personal touches that carry the most "value". Try to find that in a bigbox store.

Connie much be sleeping or out sick today. I can believe she hasn't added her praise yet. Or perhaps she has wasted far too much time keeping up with the forum and is now dreadfully behind on her xmas shopping?

That certainly is a project to be proud of. You can't beat that personal touch you've added to the crib.

That is an incredible piece of work and a great example of how the Carvewright can add to a piece of fine woodworking. Excellent job and thanks for sharing,

Excellent Work and Great finish Work.

Back in 2007 one of the Wood Working Mags had a Cradle that was a Oak deal that when you removed the bottom, folded FLAT. It was stored in a Wooden Case and a Brass Name Plate collection was on the inside cover of each Child that used it.... GREAT IDEA.... And having just gotten this Fantastic CW Machine..... It was a Match made in Heaven... Then Improperly Assembled Baby Cribs resulted in much TV Coverage...... And the Lawsuits..... That Ended "MY" interest in the project. My fear is a improperly installed Bottom and a Carried Cradle and a Injury.... But that is the Big World of Mass Production....

Your Project is Well Designed and Well Made..... I wish the Fold UP Version could have been "ID TEN Tango" Proof.... IDIOT....

Merry Christmas Friends.....
