Can anyone help me cleanup this tattoo jpg so it can be carved?...there seems to be a background that the carve software thinks should be carved and the yellow areas are not coming through as a good carve. The P in ORP seems to look like a D...can that be adjusted??

I hope to carve this on the top lid for a small box.

Rick,

I cleaned up the background for you and fixed the "P", maybe someone can work on the rough shading a little more

It means "you're wrong, but I'm done talking to you about it. I will figure out a way to do it myself."

BJB - can you possibly vectorize this jpg into a mpc??

I changed the image to a vector format with Vector Magic, I then used a ShaderMap Pro program. Not sure with all the extra black shading if it will make a good MPC.

Thank you BJB ... I'm not real knowledgeable about all the various formats, so I'll work with the 5 files in your zip file and try to figure out if they will make a good mpc file to carve.

I was hoping to make the box lid about 7"x7", so I will have to see if the carve will work at that size.

I sure appreciate your help.
