flex shaft stuck

is there a secret to getting the flex shaft out of the top of the truck, ive pulled and tried to work it back and forth and wont budge

Raise the head up, place a wide board or cover with a rag the traction belts to catch anything that might fall, Rotate the clip on the top hat to expose the BB. I use a magnetic screw drive to get the BB out. Flex shaft should pull out.

Check the metal end of the flex shaft for any burrs or indention.

Clean out the top hat, the indent for the BB and the end of the shaft. Lightly oil with 3-1...
