Check this out, a simple wood grain improted into the designer and added to a surface to make a smooth board look old.

David,
That looks great. Have you carved it? And if so, what's it's size and how long (using BEST) did it take to carve?

I have not carved it yet but I might. As you see it, 15 x 15", it would take 4 hours on best to produce. However if I send it out as it is I get all kinds of warnings about potential trouble. Size, edge cuts, etc.
This was mostly created just experimenting with the software and verous textures I have. Now I need to rework it to be cuttable. Size it down a bit and leave some edges for the rollers to ride on, rethink my boarder cut (not thrilled with what you see above).

A thing of beauty! Didn't know how I was going to start the wood portion of my Sistine Chapel (or my wifes bathroom - same thing!)
Still makes me wonder why they had it in there in a demo, but then removed it everywhere.
Thanks newcarver!
