View Full Version : Sandpaper belt slid to the right and wood will not move

Help.. When I start it measures the wood for a few inches then the wood stops moving but the belts sounds and are still moving. I opened the side and the grears look OK but I noticed the rear belt is moved over to the left and wrapped around the side of the tube that holds the sandpaper by about an 1/8 of an inch.

A Common failure. In the top of the page is a block named search. I just typed in "Belt" and got this link.

Al, sorry I just wanted Chris or someone from CW to call me on this. Do you know the new number for support. When I called today it said something like it was out of order. I read on the site that they moved and changed their numbers. I also searched for belp and remembered to check the gears. This same thing happened to me last year.
