So after all the feedback we received on the Dust Collection thread we ended up getting a JDS DC unit from Woodcraft with a 1 Micro bag and an air filter. Also we decided to section off the back section of our living room with a tarp on the floor and soundproofing to make a bootstrapped workshop. I thought you all would appreciate a 3d tour to see what we ended up with. :o

That's definitely much better than smack-dab in the middle of the dining room! And the 1 micron should definitely go a long ways to keeping the fine dust from floating around everywhere.
